PROGRESSION WEEK – TYREISS JAMES

The NPL Football Academy (NPLFA) is delighted to announce that Sutton Coldfield Town student Tyreiss James is progressing to university to study sports therapy.

Tyreiss joined the programme back in 2016 and will now take his place at University College Birmingham in September. “I am going to University College Birmingham to study Sports Therapy for three years. I am hopeful that with the qualification I can work closely with professional football clubs in the future”

On his past two years, Tyreiss has enjoyed all aspects of the programme and recommends others to follow in his steps. “Playing at a high level of football and the facilities we played on was great. The luxury of training almost every day was something I loved. I would recommend the programme to any school leavers out there”

Everyone at the NPLFA would like to wish Tyreiss the very best of luck in Birmingham and we look forward to catching up with him on his first year of university in 2019.
