PLAYERS OF THE HALF TERM - DEC 24

Congratulations to all students who have been nominated at the club they represent 'Player of the Half Term'.


Here, the coaches explain why they have chosen their respective students for their quality and attitude on the training pitch and their performances in the league and cup games over the last six weeks.



ESPFA DERBYSHIRE (Belper Town Black)


"FRANCIS JOSE-ABRANTES has been fantastic this season, improving each week at centre back despite starting the programme as a central midfielder. Francis is often performing vital recovery runs and can play out from the back using his pace and technical ability. Well done Francis!"

"CIARAN GILLESPIE has lead by example both on and off the pitch so far this season and has took on leadership responsibilities being the captain of the team. As a central midfielder he has shown good quality on the ball, able to play quickly when under pressure. He is also positive when in possession looking to play forwards and start attacks. Well done Ciaran, keep up the hard work!"
