Congratulations to all students who have been nominated at the club they represent 'Player of the Half Term'.
Here, the coaches explain why they have chosen their respective students for their quality and attitude on the training pitch and their performances in the league and cup games over the last six weeks.

ESPFA DERBYSHIRE (Belper Town Black)
"My player for the half term would be HARRY FOWKES. Consistently attends training sessions and approaches every session with a 100% attitude. The team respond well to him and he is a good influence in the group."

"GIACOMINO PILIA has consistently performed well all season, playing as a central defender. He is strong defensively especially in 1v1 situations, timing his tackles well. Mino also has good ability aerially and has contributed with some important goals towards the back end of the season!"

"ADAM RIX is the team’s captain that leads by example on and off the pitch. He always shows bravery to get on the ball in difficult situations, his choice and quality of pass has become more and more consistent since he started the course. More impressively, he is using his body with more quality, showing more aggression and winning more duels."

"Runcorn Linnets final player of the half-term is MARK DEAN. Mark's versatility has really been called upon this half term with him required to play a number of positions, often out of his comfort zone. He has performed consistently to a good standard with a great attitude. His effort and application in training is among the highest in the group and as his confidence grows a leader is beginning to emerge."

"RUI COSTA SILVA NETO has shown a fantastic work ethic, especially when out of position with his recovery runs and desire to work back. Rui is always looking to improve on his tactical skills and always does extra work. He has a fantastic attitude and mentality towards the game."

"Our player of the half term is JOSH RIVERA. Josh has an excellent attitude towards training and games. He is really important for the team and continues to be a great captain."

"My player of the half term is HAYDEN BLOWER. Since coming onto the programme, he has shown a grit and determination that his peers can learn from. A rock in the heart of defence, his 1v1 defending has been key for us this season.

"DYLAN GRUNDY is someone who just gets on with everything that is put in front of him. Always works hard in training and knows how to play to his strengths within games, breaking up the opponents play and keeping things simple. He has also covered as goalkeeper for us on a few occasions, doing a great job."
