Congratulations to Skelmersdale United student, Gerrard Traynor who made his first team debut on Saturday in a 3-1 defeat to Squires Gate.
Traynor was named on the bench for Skelmersdale United's North West Counties Football League game on Saturday and was brought on in the 71st minute.
He becomes the 56th player from the NPL Football Academy to make his first team debut and the first ever student from Skelmersdale United to do so!
The Skelmersdale United academy player has been impressive so far this season and fully deserves his call up to the first team. The Skem academy side are currently second in the Sports Traider Division and are just three points off the top.
