Congratulations to former #ESPFADerbyshire student Ethan Mann who made his first team debut for Mickleover in Tuesday’s Northern Premier League fixture against Bamber Bridge.
Ethan becomes the 80th student to make a competitive debut for the first team of one of our partner clubs and the sixth student to come through the ESPFA Derbyshire Academy and play for Mickleover this season.
Mann was a starter in the game for Mickleover and helped his side pick up a valuable point against a strong Bamber Bridge side that are knocking on the door of the playoffs.
The 78th first team debutant, Kai Moore, scored the all-important equaliser for Mickleover In the 90th minute and another former #ESPFADerbyshire student, Will Robinson was also named on the bench for Mickleover.
It’s a great success to see students who have passed through the ESPFA recruitment progress into senior football and get a foothold in the semi-professional game.
