Updated: 2 days ago

Congratulations to all students who have been nominated at the club they represent 'Player of the Half Term'.

Here, the coaches explain why they have chosen their respective students for their quality and attitude on the training pitch and their performances in the league and cup games over the last six weeks.

ESPFA DERBYSHIRE (Belper Town Yellow)

"HENRY FROST has made a great start to the season playing as a central defender and left back. He is strong defensively in 1v1 situations and reads the game well. Henry has also shown quality when on the ball, very composed, makes good decisions and his range of passing is excellent - well done Henry, keep up the hard work!"

- Carl Sheard

ESPFA WEST YORKSHIRE (Brighouse Town)

"Our player of the half term is WILLIAM BARTLE. Will always shows a great attitude in both training and games. Will is always prepared to do what is best for the team and is a positive role model within the squad."

- Kevin Ward

ESPFA GREATER MANCHESTER (Mossley AFC Yellow)

"REX SOLOMO has had an excellent start in his first year which has been tough at times, playing out of position to help the team. His attitude and application has been nothing less than 100% on a daily basis."

- Ian Cummins

ESPFA WEST YORKSHIRE (Ossett United)

"JONATHAN DUNFORD has been tested in goal in all games so far and regularly keeps us in the game with many magnificent saves. He’s good with feet and relieves pressure off his defenders by rushing off his line. He’s a great asset to the team."

- Isaac Assenso

ESPFA WEST MIDLANDS (Rushall Olympic Amber)

"JOSH RIVERA has shown excellent attitude towards training and games since the start of the season. He has been impressive in his defending and is improving on the ball all the time."

- Steve Cooke

ESPFA CHESHIRE (Sandbach United)

"JACK RALPH's work rate in both training and games has been excellent this half term. Contributing both goals and assists, he has enjoyed the influence he is starting to impose on games. Well done Jack!"

- Peter Currah-Hall
